Panagia Faneromeni is the patron saint and protector of the island. The monastery is built on a hill above the town and has amazing views. It is a quiet peaceful place where you can rejoice and relax. The monastery has a museum with various old handmade documents, clothes, and other items of priests. There is also housed a mini zoo with many kinds of birds, fishes, peacocks, deers, and squirrels. The monastery is only 5 minutes drive from Villa Nikoleta and it is wort a visit.
